TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation)

A TENS machine passes electricity across the skin to stimulate your nerves and relieve your pain.  It delivers a small electrical current to the body through electrodes attached to the skin. It does not involve medicines or injections.

An ultrasound scan creates a real-time picture of the inside of the body using sound waves to help examine and diagnose tendons and ligament damage. Ultrasound is generally painless and non-invasive. Ultrasound works differently to X-ray in that it does not use radiation.
